Hitting Blighty in a blink-and-you'll-miss-'em manner, hot NYC indie four-piece the Ballet make their UK debut tonight. The band combine bittersweet melodies and earnest lyrics, drawing influences from the Magnetic Fields, the Smiths and other literary pop icons. Also playing live are Mancunians Help Stamp Out Loneliness and Pocketbooks with their charming boy/girl harmonies. Music Is My Boyfriend break up these sounds of sweetness with indie, electro and grime records in between sets and late into the wee hours.
