Artist Chutney Bannister (the pseudonym of Turkish photographer Yusuf Ozkizil) highlights a hidden art with his collection of surreal photographs taken on the Underground. Capturing the moments when advertisement posters line up perfectly with the windows and doors of Tube trains, Ozkizil creates contemporary tableaux of which the subjects — ordinary commuters — are oblivious. The images are clever, witty and often disconcerting — those eyes could easy provoke nightmares on the last train home. At last, an antidote to train boredom.
