After 18 months of bravura performances, the curtain closes on the London Burlesque Social Club with one final eyebrow-raising hurrah. In the same instant, in a phoenix-like transformation, a new Madame JoJo's night is born: the British Burlesque Invasion. After months of auditions, the successful pin-ups hitting the stage include classically trained pianist Chrys Columbine, striptease artiste Luna Rose and the Monroe-esque Slinky Sparkles. Hosted by Kiki Kaboom, recently voted "Best Solo Newcomer" at the London Burlesque Festival 2009, the event is in suitably mischievous hands.
