Artist Mike Ballard's latest exhibition is a one-off, not-to-be-missed event, transforming the (soon-to-be-demolished to make way for Crossrail) Arts Gallery into a huge installation exploring the history of art from cave paintings to graffiti, via the baroque and pop art. No conventional framed oils on white walls here — Ballard's unique and eclectic mix of painting, collage, video and audio engulfs the entire space, including floor and ceiling, totally immersing visitors in the work.
