Millliner Stephen Jones curates this exploration of headwear from Ancient Egypt to the present day. (The eccentric hatter is celebrated by clients such as Mick Jagger, Dita von Teese and Suzy Menkes for his avant-garde designs and last year received a British Fashion Award for his achievements over 25 years in the industry.) The exhibition features a bonnet belonging to Queen Victoria, Prince Albert's top hat and other historical specimens from the V&A's archives, not to mention extraordinary couture creations by Jones and fellow designer Philip Treacy.
