Jazz-rap saxophonist Soweto Kinch brings a series of genre-bending Sunday jam sessions to the Rich Mix Bar as part of a new three-month residency. The Mercury Prize-nominated musician headlines a formidable bill of guest performers including jazz guitarist Femi Temowo and three-piece improv outfit Z-U (comprised of bassist Neil Charles, clarinettist Shabaka Hutchings and drummer Tom Skinner). Fresh writing talent and theatre performances are also thrown into the heady mix. To top it off, audience members are invited on stage to spar lyrically with the seasoned professionals.
