Journalist Damian Barr (BBC, The Times) returns to his post as the Andaz Hotel's reader in residence for one week during the London Book Fair. (Barr spent a successful fortnight last year at the Liverpool Street hotel as an author on-call night and day.) In this unusual literary extravagance, guests book Barr to read to them in their own rooms or seek a "bibliotherapy consultation", which involves the writer diagnosing their needs and prescribing the appropriate antidote — whether Proust or Pratchett.
