The second SPILL festival promises to be a theatrical spectacle, featuring more than 100 live performances by companies from across the globe. These take place in some of the capital's most interesting spaces — from Herzog and de Meuron's translucent Laban to the subterranean Shunt vaults. Highlights include: Mem Morrison's Ringside, which investigates the complex business of Turkish-Cypriot weddings; a leftfield view of London as seen by German/English collective Gob Squad in Saving the World; and The Porcelain Project, Grace Ellen Barkey and Needcompany's unusual blend of ceramics and dance.
