Cabin/et is an installation created for Room Art Space by the artist Tom Wolseley. It comprises a shipping container deposited on Hackney Road Recreation Ground, within view of the gallery. Making a statement about "transitional spaces", the container's interior is decked out with plywood shelving and seating. For the next three months, it will showcase various projects related to this theme and highlights include Camilla Lyon's recycled wood-effect formica sculptures, Clare Stent's contour line-inspired work and Wolseley's own sound piece, where visitors can listen to a container crossing the Atlantic.
