Photojournalist Nat Finkelstein, who died last October aged 76, was responsible for some of the most iconic images of the last 50 years. This retrospective at Idea Generation Gallery explores the Brooklyn native's work, including his famous pieces from his three years at Andy Warhol's Factory in the mid '60s. Although the intimate moments and famous personages captured during that period — including Bob Dylan meeting Warhol, the tragic model Edie Sedgwick and surrealist artist Marcel Duchamp — are easy crowd pleasers, Finkelstein's documentation of the civil-rights and anti-war movements fascinate in equal measure.
