If you're a fan of Most Haunted then these guided forays around the Royal Academy could be just your bag. Art student Blue Firth, parapsychologist Dr David Luke and writer Mark Pilkington (of Strange Attractor fame) lead visitors through various nooks and crannies during the one-hour tours, getting up close and personal with scenes of alleged spectral happenings — according to nighttime security guards, a "screaming nun" haunts Nun's Walk. Firth draws on a special "ghost map" she created for a previous exhibition, charting the various scenes of ghostly occurance. Be warned: participants will be expected to take an "active role" in the vigil, including psychological and physiological assessments before and after entering the site of the haunting.
