“The first Sunday of each month sees a new series of improvisational composition. Masterminded by cellist/composer Philip Sheppard, the likes of Evelyn Glennie, Roger Eno, Robin Millar and Stephen Warbeck are challenged to spontaneously soundtrack a series of classic silent films – without having seen the film prior to taking the stage. With the onscreen antics supplied by the likes of Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd, the results should be remarkable, leftfield and very very interesting.”
