“Soft Machine is the first UK solo show by Polish-born artist Jarek Piotrowski. The exhibition features works hand cut from PVC matting, inspired by the work of William Burroughs (and his 1961 novel The Soft Machine). Piotrowski explores patterns — drawn from medical books, religious texts and nature —through paintings, cutouts and live performance. ”
