“This Best Foreign Language Film selection at this year's Oscars is as inspiring as ever, and all the contenders are being shown as part of this mini season at Kilburn's Tricycle theatre. Highlights include Wim Wender’s colourful tribute to the one and only Pina Bausch (Pina), Israel’s enthralling story of gangland and poverty (Footnote) and Turkey’s Once Upon a Time Anatolia, to name but a few. There are also Q&A sessions with Lithuanian director Kristijonas Vildlilnas (Back to Your Arms), Romanian actor Andras Hathazi (Morgen) and Swiss cinematographer Lorenz Merz (Summer Games). A fantastic opportunity for film lovers to indulge in a bit of cultural diversity.”
