Italian composer Ennio Morricone, now in his 80s, defined the orchestral sound of post-war cinema, crafting iconic soundtracksfor the likes of The Untouchables (1987), Once Upon a Time in America (1984) and Bugsy (1991). He was most prolific in the '60s when he scored Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns and this night at Rich Mix sees five-piece F'eatre playing songs from his cult Italian romance soundtracks between 1968 and 1972, accompanied by the often-avant-garde and sometimes-erotic visuals from arthouse movies such as Metti, una sera a cena (1969) and Le clan des siciliens (1969). Happy Valentine's Day!
