“As another year dawns on us, the '90s get further from the memory – or do they? 2012 sees British artist Sarah Lucas channel the spirit of the artist-led exhibitions of her past in which Lucas and her art-school contemporaries (Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin et al) launched their careers. Situation is both the name of the exhibition and the new gallery space from Sadie Coles. Throughout the year Lucas presents a series of new installations constructed from everyday materials; keep an ear out for a programme of events directed by the artist too.”
