“Blouse hail from Portland, Oregon, and comprise Charlie Hilton and Patrick Adams. Their first two singles on Captured Tracks and Sub Pop created a real buzz around the band, enough to bring them over to Europe for the first time, with this gig at the Shacklewell the only London date of their five debut UK shows. Their version of what you might call dream pop features beautiful vocal hooks, stunning synth lines and the sort of rhythmic bass to make Peter Hook proud.
