Detroit's soulful garage-rock quintet the Dirtbombs bring both drummers and both bassists to the Troubadour tonight for a raucous set of covers and originals. The genre-bending outfit's latest LP, We Have You Surrounded, is a concept album about a dystopian future inspired by lyrics that graphic novelist Alan Moore originally wrote for Bauhaus. Whether covering Motown singles (as they do on nearly every track of 2001's Ultraglide in Black) or hammering out gloomy garage cuts, every song still sounds like the Dirtbombs, with frontman Mick Collins wailing over fuzzy melodies and cacophonous drums. Starting off the night are hard rockers Dan Sartain and Terrible Twos.
