Following the DIY aesthetic to a T, Sharon Kagan, Lana Shuttleworth, and Leslie Yagar, collectively known as the ladies of PiNK (Pins, Needles, and Knives — the artists' tools), set up shop at Santa Monica College's Pete & Susan Barrett Art Gallery. Plays Well With Others is an installation of found objects — including street cones and coffee filters — that have been constructed into a candy-land poppy field reminiscent of Jennifer Steinkamp, but without all that complicated technology.
