Hyperrealist painter Kenny Harris showcases his recent paintings inspired by a trip to South America. While Harris' interiors hardly show direct evidence of their exotic subject matter (or any people, for that matter), the paintings are lush and lovely in their depiction of ambient light and saturated color. Harris' expressive, classical pieces are juxtaposed with a series by Roland Reiss, a towering figure in contemporary nonobjective painting and theory. It's an unlikely but inspired pairing, presenting a playful graphic dialogue.
