Brooklyn-bred avant-soulsters Free Blood drop a bit of ecstatic electricity tonight, whipping the Getty's Flavorpill-curated Fridays Off the 405 party into a frenzy with the help of deep-house/disco diehard DJ Spun. If the cool evening air (who knew there'd be an LA autumn?) sends you in search of a quick warm-up, head inside for In Focus: The Nude — a classic, elegant, and mildly steamy new photography show culled from the Getty's own extensive collection. Offering a history of the archetypal fine-art subject, the exhibition explores depictions of the human body from the early days of the form to the present.
