Note: Ex-members of the Source Family reunite onstage on Thur Nov 15 (8pm) at the Silent Movie Theatre for a program composed of slides, home movies, and '70s cable-access vids.
Invigorated by the definitive new book The Source: The Untold Story of Father Yod, Ya Ho Wa 13, and the Source Family, the Source Family band reunites 30 original members of the legendary '70s commune for a series of events. Tonight features a live performance from Ya Ho Wa 13 along with a slide show from the book's author, Isis Aquarian, plus a recreation of Father Yod's bedroom by Thomas Wylde. DJ sets from dublab's Small Town Talk and film projections from DJ big TV are included. The invite says it best: "Source Family attire is highly encouraged. Get out those low-cut nightgowns and caftans, and don't forget that wide leather belt!"
