Given the topsy-turvy nature of current geopolitics, the idea of a global conflict being instigated by a cabal of petty, puerile European nobles and military men might not seem all that far-fetched. In Red Dog Squadron's world-premiere production of Grand Delusion, the comedic historical fiction posits WWI as just that. Featuring a stellar cast including Xander Berkeley, Kurt Fuller, and Timothy Omundson, and directed by gallows-humor maven Larry Biederman, this political farce is sidesplittingly hilarious, even if it does hit a bit close to home.
