For Ellen de Meutter's first US solo exhibition, the Belgian painter displays her signature childlike aesthetic, juxtaposing bright, expressionist imagery with desolate backdrops. The collection features acrylic and ink paintings in which the artist's past collides with a utopia where tree houses, bicycles, and isolated moments become strangely hyper-real.
