Charitable West Side residents can get their karmic groove on at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium's annual expression of beach-town brotherly love. Helping people is what Thanksgiving is all about, so come down to prep, serve, or clean up for the hundreds of folks in need of a little compassion and a warm dinner. If you can't lend a hand this year, don't worry. You can always lend some cash to the cause, instead — the entire endeavor is, after all, driven by your donations.
