Beautiful and sublime, paintings by Seattle-based artist Robert Hardgrave boast slick, slippery, intestinal arabesques, quivering flora, and mysterious corpuscular floaters. Channeling a "Fantastic Voyage" vision as vibrant as digital animation, along with a hypnotic, mandala-like fluidity in pattern making, these compelling paintings tell a narrative of bodily healing in the esoteric language of color and form.
