Seattle-based DAE's artistic methodology combines jazz, rock, thrash, butoh, poetry, and surrealism to generate intoxicating performances. The six versatile members play out their experimentations in theaters, art houses, rock halls, and clubs across the globe, and always entrance audiences with their bold strokes of creativity. For their REDCAT appearance, they tell a story inspired by the cuckoo — a parasitic bird that lays its eggs in the nests of other birds, displacing (and thus killing) its hosts' offspring.
