LA-based rockers Hello Stranger have officially succumbed to their obsession with dead-serious disco, legwarmers, and hairspray. Far from cutesy (despite the Lycra), Juliette Monique Commagere's sexy-vixen vocals mix in enough grit for a Donna Summers-meets-Debbie Harry good time. Her band's unironic embrace of the keytar might seem cheeky, but when it's combined with catchy guitar hooks, sunshine-drenched organ riffs, and fat, bouncing bass lines, it'll trick you into really missing the '80s.
