Art Emma Ferreira: When Life Dances II: Classic Beauty

Venice's brand-new Spin Gallery merges fine and automotive art, showcasing promising new visual talents alongside rare and beautiful cars. Its latest wall-based offering is a new collection by an LA émigré, mixed-media artist Emma Ferreira. The second part of her When Life Dances series explores the topic of living passionately. Dealing with perceptions (and misconceptions) of classic beauty, Ferreira layers photographs with somber-toned paint and collage. Proceeds from the exhibition benefit Operation Smile, an organization that provides free reconstructive facial surgery to children.
