AIDS touches people in all segments of society, and, despite how we might pretend otherwise, the disease continues to wreak havoc every single day. Highways Performance Space does its part this weekend with two nights of programs and memorials. It begins tonight with an exhibition of rare photographs tracing the history of the struggle against AIDS, followed by a discussion with the 20-year veterans of ACT UP/LA, one of the city's most historically militant gay-rights advocate groups.
