Pop-culture empire Giant Robot began way back in 1994 as a zine, and has since grown to include a glossy magazine, galleries in both San Francisco and New York, and a restaurant in Los Angeles. In celebration of its mag's 50th issue, Giant Robot has organized this exhibition in conjunction with the Japanese American National Museum. Giant Robot Bienniale: 50 Issues displays work by artists that the publication has worked with throughout its history, including the now-celebrated Pryor Praczukowski, Adrian Tomine, Gary Baseman, Sashie Masakatsu, and Eishi Takaoka.
