While Deborah Hede and Lynda Pizzuto are both Los Angeles-based artists working in the medium of drawing, the juxtaposition of their work in this dual exhibition highlights their aesthetic differences. Whereas Hede's charcoal/pastel drawings are non-objective and mathematic (she begins each piece on a grid base), Pizzuto opts for more fluidity of form, choosing organic shapes and imagery for her romantic compositions.
