Visual artist Dana Louise Kirkpatrick is inspired by a variety of concepts, but more than the urban environment's frantic pace and waste, more than issues of social injustice and female sexuality, she is inspired by music. In this special weekend exhibition, green-auto company Smart Car's Venice showroom hosts Kirkpatrick's new work (some of which was executed on Smart Car door panels) in a sale benefiting the Silverlake Conservatory of Music and featuring a special opening-night acoustic performance by the Jane Doe's.
