Curator Kristine Bowen brings together 16 artists who channel the contemporary American spirit of fear and, as the show title suggests, anxiety. Mixed-media and painted works, involving everything from patchworked border-patrol uniforms to images taken from surveillance-camera feeds, evoke strong feelings of paranoia — so take a deep breath and try not to look behind you.
