This month's Tongue & Groove has a roster made up entirely of Latino authors, performers, and spoken-word artists. Perhaps one of the best-known figures in the Los Angeles theatrical landscape, Richard Montoya is the legendary and dynamic powerhouse behind decades of unforgettable Culture Clash productions, while Jose Montoya is a renowned bilingual poet and community activist. Meanwhile, Luis Rodriguez and Mario Rocha are both rising stars in the country's growing spoken-word movement.
