Indie rock, psych folk, noise rock — if there's a form of progressive, experimental, guitar-based sound-making, chances are Ben Chasny has had his fingers all over it, having played with everyone from Comets on Fire to the Magik Markers. His mostly-solo project, Six Organs of Admittance, has blown minds and induced both shoegazing and toe-tapping in support of his new album Shelter from the Ash.
