Art Griots in the Gallery: Aztec Stories

Discover the mysteries of the Aztecs through poetry, stories, and ballads, as veteran storyteller Michael Heralda shares art, history, language, and food from an ancient culture. Heralda appears in conjunction with the black-and-white photo exhibition Visual Griots of Mali, and comes toting a variety of carved and painted instruments, including gourd water drums, shakers, clay flutes, and conch-shell trumpets.
