The Artists' Gallery (TAG) is one of the best membership-based art galleries in LA, in part due to the talent of its roster. Regular programming includes three simultaneous solo shows and a rotating installation by inspired local stars, offering curious audiences new connections and juxtapositions. This month, Julia Schwartz's intensely emotive and viscerally textured oil and wax paintings sit next to Stephanie Visser's rough, exuberant collages and Gary Polonksy's hyperrealist, luminous acrylic-oil paintings of fetching postage stamps.
