Egyptian Theatre says…

Two Otto Preminger classics set the mood for a night of psychological conspiracy. The he-said-she-said thriller Bunny Lake is Missing (1965) is followed by Preminger 's hearsay film noir The 13th Letter (1951). Ambivalence is the running theme in Bunny, which features Laurence Olivier as a weary superintendent enlisted to find a missing and possibly imaginary child. Letter, on the other hand, reconstructs the French classic Le Corbeau (1943), in which poison pen letters produce unsolicited suspicions among secretive townspeople.
