Just in time for National Bird Day (first Saturday of January, in case you forgot to mark your calendar), Silverlake's Thinkspace Gallery presents a two-day-only event featuring fine-feathered artwork from the likes of Andy Kehoe, P. Williams, and Allison Sommers. Friday's Dewars/Grolsch-sponsored reception offers viewers a first glance at the works before they go on sale. On Saturday, bring the kids by for a coloring contest and tour of the collection. And if you feel the need to grab a piece up before it flies the coop, all the better: Twenty percent of all proceeds go to the Animal Protection Institute.
