New Image Art owner Marsea Goldberg remembers when posters were a vehicle for edgy, urban art and illustration — and so do the artists she's gathered for her Poster Renaissance 2 exhibition. While Internet media has caused printed posters to go the way of the dodo, exhibiting artists Kelsey Brookes, Faile, and Bast (and several notable others) cling happily to the old-fashioned route: the classic combination of actual ink, actual paper, and actual innovation.
