Living in the city definitely has its perks. The energy, the architecture, the food, and, of course, the music. Digging deeper into the urban experience, the Concrete Frequency festival examines the constantly evolving relationship between a city and its music. Driven by director David Robertson, the multi-part event celebrates urban life through films, orchestral programs, and dance. In tonight's Songs of the City program, some of indie pop's finest — including Sondre Lerche, Bob Mould, Zach Rogue of Rogue Wave, and Daniel Rosen of Grizzly Bear — come together to sing songs inspired by their hometowns.
