East Village punk icon Ann Magnuson travels back to her roots tonight for a foray into musical "dueling." A cross between charades and karaoke, this face-off pits the now-LA-based Magnuson and musician Alexander Rannie against East Coast singers Adam Dugas and Mia Theodoratus. The gist is to combine music savvy with theatrical chops as the combatants sling everything from gospel to goth, Henry Purcell's Baroque numbers to drum 'n bass, and a handful of new, original tunes penned by Magnuson and Dugas.
