Hot on the, er, antennae of the Pavilion of Wings exhibition, the Natural History Museum now brings on the spiders. The arachnids crawl and climb around an imitation habitat on the south lawn of the museum, where, guided by the light of a complementary flashlight, adventurers receive an intimate experience with a variety of eight-legged wonders. Featured creatures include the appropriately named golden silk spider and the banded garden spider, whose big break came playing Charlotte in children's classic Charlotte's Web. The biggest lesson: spiders are much more fun when they're climbing up the museum's walls instead of your own.
