Out of the ashes of breakout punk act the Distillers emerges Spinnerette, Brody Dalle's latest searingly hot take on femme-fronted rock 'n roll. This seductive Aussie vocalist named herself after controversial French actress Béatrice Dalle, whose anti-hero status is held in high regard by punks. These days, Dalle is putting the final touches on a Spinnerette debut album, and if this record is like any of her other notable projects, it's sure to attract ears as the band hunts for label backing.
