Very Be Careful bring cumbia and vallenato into the 21st century. The Caribbean-by-way-of-LA group expound upon urban grit with jubilant music that resounds as much with Colombian lustre as with the grime of their current locale. Taking the acoustic guitar, accordion and double bass of their traditional sounds and adding blazing percussion and bass lines, the group provoke dance-floor mayhem — inspiring what the trainer-melting, party-keen collective call a "booty-shakin' firestorm". Tonight they get support from DJ Randy J, the Leatherette, and other surprise treats.
