Genghis Tron have accumulated an exceptionally diverse array of genre descriptors — grindcore, cybergrind, power noise, and doom industrial, to name a few — but none quite do the band justice. However you describe them, know this: GT are a metal trio with no drummer and no bassist. Against all odds, the guitars, keys, and drum-machine combo is gloriously aggressive, while slow, ambient interludes tease out the dreaminess in all that gothic pounding.
