In the '60s and '70s, the Beatles led an exuberant parade East, inspiring throngs of Westerners to follow in a search of enlightenment. Though India is no longer the hippie trail it once was, the country remains a choice destination for nirvana-seeking travelers from the West. In The Searchers, Sasha Bezzubov and Jessica Sucher document India's spiritual tourism, displaying large-scale photographs of Indian temples, utopian communities, and yoga retreats tailored to expats.
