The Big Lebowski may be TC Boyle's favorite film, but he clearly hasn't taken the Dude's work ethic to heart. With 20 books under his belt, Boyle is one of the most prolific writers around. His curriculum vitae includes award winners like Drop City, The Tortilla Curtain, World's End and a smorgasbord of short stories rife with scathing satire. After tonight's reading, Boyle gets chummy with author Mona Simpson, discussing craft, Rock 'n Roll, and his latest novel, The Women.
