In It Together is the meta-title for a pair of simultaneous collaborative exhibitions: Matthew Rodriguez and Nicholas Bohac's Drill, Baby, Drill! and Saelee Oh and Jill Bliss' Gathered Together. The boys-against-girls partnerships take diverse tacks in their explorations of the human condition, with the gents drawing on their stylistic idioms of graffiti (Rodriguez) and mixed-media collage (Bohac) to generate candy-coated apocalyptic landscapes, while the ladies share the fruits of a longer-term collaborative project, employing craft influences and personal narrative in their whimsical, insightful vignettes.
